It runs from their newest range of XGT 40Vmax batteries, plus their largest range of batteries the LXT 18V range. As well as those two it can run from their compact tool range of batteries, the CXT 12V. Finally, you can use the included wall adaptor to connect it to 230V mains when that's available.
