  The Makita DTM53 is a 18V LXT brushless multi tool designed for cutting, sanding, scraping and trimming applications. With variable speeds from 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute and a 3.2° oscillation angle, it delivers precision and performance when working with timber, plasterboard, flooring and other materials.
  
  Powered by an 18V LXT brushless motor, the DTM53 features constant speed control to maintain performance under load and a variable-speed dial to suit different applications. Its slim, ergonomic design provides excellent handling in confined spaces, while the tool-less accessory change system allows quick and convenient blade changes. It's compatible with accessories in the OIS (Oscillating Interface System) and STARLOCK accessories for maximal versatility that professional tradespeople need.
