  The Metabo OFV 18 LTX BL 12 cordless router handles heavy-duty timber profiling, grooving, and rebate cutting on site. Built for site carpenters and bench joiners, it combines cordless portability with full 50mm plunge stroke capability for deep structural woodworking tasks.
  
  A high-efficiency brushless motor powers the cutter head from 11,000 to 25,000 rpm. Variable speed selection allows matching bit speed to timber hardness and bit diameter. The unit accepts both 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch shank router bits using interchangeable hardened collets.
  
  Precision routing relies on a rigid two-column guide that resists twisting under lateral load. Depth setting uses a three-stage turret stop alongside a millimeter scale for precise micro-adjustments. Safety systems include electronic restart protection and motor overload monitoring. The tool runs on all 18V CAS battery packs.
  
  This body-only unit includes a metaBOX 340 carry case, dust extraction adapter, parallel fence, template guide, and both 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch collets. It serves site joiners fitting kitchen worktops, routing hinge recesses, and trimming edge veneers without trailing power cables.
