The KT 18 LTX 66 BL is a top-of-the-line circular saw from Metabo designed for use on a guide rail for making accurate plunge cuts. It features a best-in-class cut depth of 61mm on the rail, and 66mm off rail.
Whilst this version of the saw is supplied without batteries or charger as standard, it does come with a case. If you need batteries, it works with Metabo's own 18V Lithium batteries, or with any other CAS battery pack.
The saw can bevel all the way up to 46 degrees, and can even do a 1 degree negative bevel. A blade is supplied in the machine, but it takes standard plunge saw blades of 165mm diameter and 20mm bore.
Adjusting the cut depth is easy, simply by pressing a release button and moving it to the desired depth. You can also use the same depth stop to hold the blade at the correct height to change the blade.
Metabo's guide rail system is called "FS", and we currently stock the FS 160 (1.6m) as well as the FSV connector to allow connecting of multiple rails together. If desired, we can order in different lengths of guide rail.
